Abstract

Fallen in the forgetfulness, today few remember that the origin and technological foundation around which gravitates the reform that on world-wide scale has been shaking to the electrical sector for several lustrums is “Model MIT”. In this article the circumstances that surrounded their development and application,and the consequences of their failure are described. At the same time the problems are analyzed that cause the vertical disintegration and other barriers to the emergency of the distributed control and the technologies of the network of the future; finally to locate to the Schools of Engineering before this crossroads.
