THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY BETS ON HYDROGEN

The European Community intends to make a definitive effort to deploy hydrogen-related technology with a broad action plan called IPCEI Hydrogen. It sets as its objective ‘the innovation, demonstration and deployment of hydrogen technology’ in the EC. It consists of four groups of projects that include the entire hydrogen value chain: production, import, transport and end use. The four groups (clusters or waves) are: Hy2Tech, Hy2Use, Hy2Infra and Hy2Move.
