The author describes this personal experiences as Manager of a small-to-medium-sized industrial concern regarding the company’s evolution concerning its quality control approach in its beginnings. A final Quality Control was carried out in 1980 and the company was awarded ISO 9002 Certification in 1993. After many different experiencs and vicissitudes.the Microdeco company was awarded the European Quality Prize in 2003.
