HYDROGEN PRODUCTION FROM BIOMASS. OPTIMIZATION OF GASIFICATION BY EXPERIMENTAL STATISTICAL DESIGN

Resumen

Biomass conversion into a gas with high content in hydrogen is

considered as a future alternative to obtain energy and chemicals

products from renewable sources. One of the current technologies for

this purpose is the gasification using steam as gasification agent. The

technical objective of this work is the study of the process of biomass

gasification with steam and oxygen as thermochemical process of

transformation of biomass to obtain the maximum amount of hydrogen

with lowest tar content.
