Traditional territorial and town planning processes have led the
world population towards un-sustain-ability. Industrial activity is one of the
basic pillars of resource exhaustion and environmental deterioration due
to the production of goods.The growing importance today of
establishing policies orientated to-wards minimizing the deterioration of
our environment for any kind of ac-tion we aim to carry out, brings home
the need to carry out sustainability studies which accompany these new
developments.Development of new economic activities generally leads to the mate-rialization of buildings, which occa-sionally may mean important deterio-ration in the environment where set,if the necessary measures are nottaken.
This article establishes the analy-sis bases for sustainability optimiza-
tion of industrial buildings.
